Meet Dr. Kirnak:
Dr. Jocelyn Kirnak, a former National Merit Finalist, grew up in Cedar Hills. As a teen, she wore an extensive metal brace for scoliosis, which later triggered her keen interest in chiropractic. She first pursued a career as a professional dancer, moving to New York City at age 18, (with $1000 saved), to study at Alvin Aileys and Martha Graham studios. After several years dancing, a severe injury ended that career.
“Dr. K” graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and moved back to Oregon, as her parents were getting older. She married her husband, Greg, in 2002. She enjoys hip hop dance classes, swimming, and weightlifting in her spare time.
Dr. Kirnak integrates various soft tissue techniques into her treatments, and emphasizes very individualized, detailed care in each session. She holds extra Certification in Sacro Occipital Technique, a full body system, and includes adjusting feet and the skull and jaw, as needed. Every year she studies more chiropractic, to add more in-depth ways to treat her patients.
Dr. K jokes that she has memorized many of her patients’ phone numbers, as she has taken care of many for 10-20 years!
