Dr. Jocelyn Kirnak, D.C. grew up in Cedar Hills, becoming a member of the Jefferson Dancers, as well as a National Merit Finalist. When she wasn’t dancing, she wore a Milwaukie Brace for spinal scoliosis, which eventually led to her later career path as a chiropractor.
After moving to New York City at age 18 , (with $1000 saved), she studied and performed dance professionally for 8 years, before moving to the L.A. area to get her chiropractic prerequisites. “Dr. J” graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and moved back (“to the old bunk-bed”) to Oregon, as her parents were getting older.
She worked teaching water aerobics, and as a physiotherapy teaching aide at W.S.C.C., while waiting to fulfill Oregon’s additional requirements, and saving up enough to start her own practice. Dr. Kirnak enjoys reading spy novels, Zumba, and spending time with family in her spare time.
